I posted the "sneak peek" of Chris Rock's documentary about our hair several months ago. The official trailer has finally been released :
Per usual, a deeply personal and for some, painful issue pertaining to Black women is on display for the "masses" to dissect.
This type of commentary is exactly why I don't like this film:

On a lighter note, I have had to answer questions this year such as, "Ms. Chibster, why do you keep getting your ends clipped? You should let your hair be long and flowing!" It took some conversation for me to realize that even when some of the girls try to grow long hair, their hair breaks and they have to get a weave if they want a long-hair look. I never knew how easy I had it with my hair until this year!
(Although, I think it would be nice if I could pull off the scarf on the head look on a bad hair day. I look terrible trying to do that!)"
Thanks Chris. /sarcasm
